Travel in open safari vehicles (max. 10 guests per vehicle) and get up close to elephants, giraffes, rhinos, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and countless antelope species.

Home to over 40 mammal species and around 2,000 animals, Schotia offers excellent year-round game viewing.
It was also the first private reserve in the Cape Province to reintroduce free-roaming lions, giving you a great chance to see these majestic predators.

🐘 Morning Safari:

• Transfer to Schotia Game Reserve (approx. 45 minutes)
• ±3.5-hour guided safari with expert ranger
• Lunch at the traditional Lapa (prepared over open fire)
• Return transfer to the ship or hotel

🦏 Afternoon / Evening Safari:

• Transfer to the reserve
• Safari into the late afternoon and dusk (approx. 3.5 hours incl. breaks)
• Dinner in the open-air Lapa by the fire
• Night safari with spotlights to see nocturnal animals
• Return transfer to the ship or hotel
