Experience the incredible diversity of Mauritius’ east and west coasts on a unique combination tour featuring an early morning dolphin encounter followed by a relaxing private-style boat adventure through the stunning lagoons of the east coast.
🐬 Part 1: Dolphin Watching at Sunrise
Our combination tour starts directly from the cruise port. Departure time varies depending on the season; during the summer months, we leave as early as 4:20 AM to meet the dolphins during the calmest hours of the day and enjoy a more peaceful experience.
Aboard our powerful sports boat (150 HP, maximum 8 guests including crew), we head out at sunrise to the natural habitat of the spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins.
Highlights:
- Observe dolphins in their natural environment
- Possibility to swim with dolphins, depending on local conditions and regulations
- Respectful wildlife approach: we arrive early and leave the area once more boats begin to arrive
- Return from the dolphin experience: approximately 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (depending on the season)
🚤 Part 2: Exclusive Boat Tour on the East Coast of Mauritius
After a short break, we continue towards the east coast of Mauritius. The starting point is Pointe Jérôme, located just 1 km from Blue Bay.
Here, our lagoon discovery tour begins with a snorkelling stop in the Blue Bay Marine Park (weather permitting; if necessary, this stop may take place at the end of the tour).
Afterwards, you board our comfortable motorboat (maximum 11 seats; the tour is limited to 8 guests) for an exclusive journey through the turquoise paradise of Mauritius.
Highlights of the Boat Tour:
- Île aux Aigrettes – perfect for swimming and relaxing
- Île de la Passe & Île aux Fouquets (Lighthouse Island) – discover fascinating stories from Mauritius’ history
- Grand River South East Waterfall – accessible by boat and a true natural highlight
- Île aux Flamants – visited only when weather conditions allow
- Île aux Cerfs – enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch in a peaceful beach setting
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing in beautiful turquoise lagoons—away from mass tourism.

In the afternoon, we will comfortably take you back to the cruise port.

This exclusive boat tour puts a private vessel at your disposal for the day. You watch dolphins in the wild, snorkel over reefs and swim in turquoise water. Moreover, a friendly English-speaking guide and crew look after you. Above all, you return to your cruise ship in good time.
What to Expect on Your Exclusive Boat Tour
On this exclusive boat tour the whole vessel is yours for the morning. First you cruise out to meet wild dolphins. Afterwards you snorkel over coral gardens and swim in calm turquoise bays. Moreover, fresh drinks and fruit are served on board. Above all, the crew and your English-speaking guide make the day feel effortless.

ℹ️ Good to Know
I would like to provide you with some additional information about your tour in case you are unable to fully follow the explanations given by the English-speaking crew.
Normally, Skipper Jeff and an assistant will accompany you during the tour and ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely.
Whenever you have a request or need assistance, please do not hesitate to speak to the crew. They will be happy to help.
Shortly after boarding the boat, the crew will provide you with important safety instructions.
These include information about the location of the life jackets and the important rule that you must never jump into the water while the boat is moving. There will be opportunities for swimming, but please only enter the water when instructed by the crew. They will always consider currents, waves, and sea conditions to ensure your safety.
During the trip, please avoid unnecessary movement around the boat. Before the crew increases speed, they will give you the instruction “please sit down” for your own safety.
Your Tour – Your Choice
You decide how you would like to enjoy your tour, including how long and where you would like to stop. This is your day, and the crew will only make recommendations based on what they believe will provide the best experience for you under the conditions of that particular day.
Cancellation Policy
- In case of itinerary changes due to ship rerouting or cyclone conditions, we will reschedule your tour to a new date free of charge.
- If you cancel due to ship rerouting or cyclone conditions, a processing fee of €15 will apply.
- If your ship does not arrive due to weather-related reasons, no costs will be charged to the customer.
Changes and Cancellations
- Changes to your booking are possible up to 6 days before the tour date.
- From 5 days before the tour date, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
- From 48 hours before the tour date, a 100% cancellation fee applies, regardless of the reason, including illness, feeling unwell, or no-show.
- Guests who have not arrived within 15 minutes after the scheduled tour start time will be considered a no-show and charged 100% cancellation fees
