Tour Overview

Depending on the season, our dolphin tour in Mauritius begins early in the morning, sometimes as early as 5:00 AM.
Although the early start may require an early transfer, it is absolutely worth it.
Watching the sun rise over the mountains of Mauritius while heading out to sea is an unforgettable experience in itself.

Our modern 26- and 28-foot speedboats (140–150 HP) accommodate only 6 to 8 guests, creating a personal, comfortable, and exclusive atmosphere.
Fins are available free of charge, but we kindly ask guests to bring their own snorkel mask.
In rare cases, such as maintenance or technical inspections, an equivalent replacement boat may be used.

After swimming with the dolphins, you’ll also have the opportunity to snorkel at a beautiful coral reef, where you can discover the colourful underwater world of Mauritius.

Important Information

Swimming with wild dolphins is only suitable for confident swimmers with a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Participants must already know how to use a snorkel mask and fins, as no swimming or snorkelling instruction is provided during the tour.

For safety reasons, guests who require a life jacket for swimming may not be permitted to enter the open ocean to swim with the dolphins. Your safety is always our highest priority.

Please wear your swimwear underneath your clothes, as there are no changing facilities on board.

Don’t forget to fully charge your camera or phone—you’ll want to capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Light clothing is recommended for boarding the boat.

Seasonal Conditions

We always aim to find the dolphins at sunrise, before the area becomes busy with other boats, offering a peaceful and respectful wildlife experience.
However, as these are wild dolphins, sightings can never be guaranteed.

• Summer departure: from approximately 4:45 AM
• Winter departure: from approximately 6:00 AM
• During holiday periods, there may be more boats on the water.
• Dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed, as the animals live freely in the wild.

Families with Young Children

For safety reasons and to ensure the best experience for all guests, families with children under 2 years old can only join this excursion as part of a private dolphin tour.

This allows us to adapt the tour to your family’s needs without affecting other participants.
