The Finest Towns of the North
This tour from Las Palmas leads through charming towns, green valleys and mountain scenery in the north of Gran Canaria. Indeed, it gives a real insight into Canarian culture and everyday life. Moreover, the group is limited to fifteen guests.
Arucas, Firgas and Teror
The first stop is Arucas, known for its imposing neo-Gothic church, often called the cathedral of the north, and for its rum distillery. Afterwards, Firgas follows, famous for its mineral water and its stepped water feature through the village. Finally, Teror is the spiritual heart of the island, with wooden balconies lining the street to the basilica. Above all, an outdoor picnic with Canarian specialities rounds off the morning.
