Morning Jeep Safari

This safari takes you into the desert during the cool morning hours. Indeed, early risers get the dunes at their most beautiful, before the heat builds. Moreover, pick-up is between 08:00 and 08:30, or in winter between 07:00 and 07:30.

The Dunes in Morning Light

A comfortable four-wheel drive Landcruiser collects you at the terminal and, after about thirty minutes, the tarmac gives way to sand. The driver lets air from the tyres and then works the vehicle across the ridges in long controlled slides. In the low morning sun the dunes show sharp lines of light and shadow. Above all, the desert is quiet at this hour, with almost nobody else out there.
