The Last Dragons on Earth

Komodo monitors grow up to three metres long and are found in the wild nowhere else. Guided walks with certified park rangers bring you close to them in their natural habitat, which is an unforgettable experience for anyone who loves wildlife. Above all, the rangers know where the animals rest and how to keep everyone at a safe distance. Alongside them the park holds deer, wild boar and a rich birdlife.

Pink Beach and Clear Water

Beyond the dragons, Komodo offers spectacular beaches and some of the finest snorkelling in Indonesia. The famous Pink Beach takes its colour from tiny red coral fragments mixed into the white sand. Just offshore, the reef drops away into water so clear that the fish are visible from the surface. Therefore, our two tours differ mainly in whether you want to add swimming to the wildlife walk.

Your Day Ashore in Komodo

There is no cruise pier here, so a tender boat brings you ashore between 08:00 and 10:00. Our guide meets you at the jetty and stays with you all day. Finally, sturdy shoes, plenty of water and sun protection are essential, as there is little shade on the trails.
