Saona

Unforgettable Saona Island Tour from La Romana with Bakadi Dreams

Experience an unforgettable excursion to the stunning Saona Island, one of the most beautiful natural treasures of the Dominican Republic.
The tour begins at 9:30 AM directly at the La Romana cruise terminal, followed by a short transfer to the picturesque coastal town of Bayahibe, where the adventure officially starts.

The tour begins with a 45-minute speedboat ride across the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
Along the way, we make a stop at a sandbank in the open sea, where you can swim and snorkel while observing fascinating sea stars – please do not remove them from the water!

After this stop, we continue to the paradisiacal Saona Island, a protected nature reserve and one of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations.
Saona Island captivates visitors with its soft white sand, crystal-clear waters, palm groves, and unique flora and fauna.
During your approximately three-hour stay, you have plenty of time to explore the island, relax on the beach, swim, or snorkel.
A delicious buffet lunch and a lively entertainment program complete the experience.

The return trip to Bayahibe takes place on a large sailing catamaran between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, offering a relaxing journey and stunning coastal views.
From Bayahibe, we bring you safely back to your cruise ship, arriving at the port around 6:00 PM.

Immerse yourself in the paradise of Saona Island and enjoy a day full of sun, sea, and Caribbean charm!
