Stingray, Starfish & Cave Tour

This early tour reaches Starfish Point and the Stingray City sandbar before the big groups arrive. Indeed, pick-up is around 7:15 to 7:30, when the rays are still curious and the North Sound is calm. Moreover, on Fridays and Saturdays the trip can be extended with a cave tour.

Stingrays, Starfish and an Optional Cave Tour

At the sandbar, you meet the southern stingrays up close while the crew shows you how to handle them. Then, Starfish Point offers a shallow bay where dozens of orange starfish rest in the sand. On Fridays and Saturdays, a guided cave tour of about ninety minutes follows, with time afterwards at the Kaibo. Above all, the rule everywhere is simple: look, but never lift the animals from the water.

On the Water

The North Sound is a wide, shallow lagoon protected by the reef, so conditions are usually calm. Indeed, the gentle water makes it easy to relax and take photos. Moreover, the crew keeps every group small and unhurried. Above all, the animals here are wild and protected, so the rule is always to look closely but never lift them from the sea. As a result, the day stays gentle for you and for them.
