The Cirque de Salazie is the most accessible and greenest of Réunion’s three famous volcanic cirques.

As you travel inland, you’ll be captivated by the dramatic mountain slopes covered in lush tropical vegetation and ancient layers of volcanic rock formed more than 180,000 years ago.

Your journey takes you through the island’s capital Saint-Denis and the charming towns of Sainte-Marie, Sainte-Suzanne, and Saint-André, where endless sugar cane fields shape the landscape before the road climbs into the mountains.

La Voile de la Mariée Waterfall

One of the highlights of the tour is the spectacular La Voile de la Mariée (Bride’s Veil Waterfall).

This beautiful waterfall cascades gracefully down the mountainside throughout the year, surrounded by lush vegetation, chayote vines, and watercress, creating one of the island’s most photographed natural attractions.
