Your tour begins at the cruise port. The departure time depends on the season; during the summer months, we leave at approximately 4:20 AM.

We start the day with our Early Morning Dolphin Tour, as described on our website, offering you the opportunity to observe wild dolphins in their natural habitat during the calmest hours of the day.

After the dolphin excursion, we continue to one of Mauritius’ most spectacular natural attractions—the 7 Cascades, also known as the Tamarin Waterfalls.

With its 11 waterfalls, 13 abseiling points, deep natural pools, rocky cliffs, and lush tropical vegetation, the 7 Cascadesare considered one of the island’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.

The hike begins directly from the trailhead. Along the way, you will visit three spectacular viewpoints. Following a narrow forest path, you will reach the first plateau overlooking the waterfalls before continuing along the cliffs, where you will enjoy magnificent panoramic views across the entire waterfall system.

For the more adventurous hikers, the trail continues to the famous “Bout du Monde” (End of the World), a spectacular viewpoint that offers breathtaking views towards the west coast of Mauritius, almost as if looking through a giant natural window.

Located near the small village of Henrietta on the western plateau of Mauritius, the 7 Cascades are fed by the source of the Tamarin River. With a total height of 293 metres (961 feet), they form the highest waterfall system in Mauritius.

This peaceful natural paradise is home to a wide variety of exotic plants and native bird species. Part of the river is also used to generate hydroelectric power. Although certain sections of the hike can be moderately challenging, the spectacular scenery makes every step worthwhile. Birdwatchers, photographers, and nature lovers will especially appreciate this unforgettable walk through one of Mauritius’ most beautiful landscapes.
