Baie Ternay Marine Park

Baie Ternay Marine Park is an outstanding protected area in the north-west of Mahe. Indeed, the Seychelles are known for their natural beauty and rich marine life, and this park shows both at their best. Moreover, the calm, clear water makes it ideal for snorkelling.

An Underwater World in Clear Water

The most remarkable feature of the park is the variety beneath the surface. Colourful coral reefs shelter tropical fish, sea turtles and rays, and dolphins appear from time to time. Because the bay is sheltered, visibility is usually excellent and conditions stay gentle. Above all, the protected status means the reef here is in far better condition than in many other places.
