This tour visits the excavations of Kourion and Kouklia together with Aphrodite’s Rock and the beach of Petra tou Romiou. Indeed, pick-up is between 08:00 and 08:30 at the cruise port. Moreover, there is time to swim where legend places the birth of Aphrodite.

Ancient Sites and a Legendary Shore

Kourion is among the most beautiful archaeological sites on Cyprus, where modern roofing protects an extensive field of ruins and mosaics. Afterwards, the excavations at Kouklia add the sanctuary of Aphrodite. Finally, the coast opens at Petra tou Romiou, where the great rock stands offshore. Above all, the pebble beach there invites a swim in clear water.
