Historic Dubai
This tour explores the older Dubai, a striking contrast to the skyline. Indeed, it shows the cultural heritage that the modern city grew from. Moreover, pick-up is at around 09:00 at the port.
Al Fahidi, the Souks and the Creek
The Al Fahidi quarter preserves the wind-tower houses that cooled homes long before air conditioning, its narrow lanes now home to galleries and cafes. Afterwards, an abra, the small wooden ferry, carries you across the Creek for a single dirham, just as it has for generations. On the far bank lie the spice souk and the gold souk, where shop windows glitter with chains by the kilo. Above all, this is the Dubai that existed before the towers.
