The Nahoon River – Nature at Its Best
The Nahoon River winds through a picturesque landscape, past elegant homes and lush greenery, before reaching the Indian Ocean.
The river mouth offers a spectacular panorama, where peace and nature reveal their most beautiful sides.
Tour Overview
After a short 15-minute bus transfer, you’ll reach the barge – a comfortable riverboat that will guide you safely through this stunning natural setting.
The ride begins gently as you enjoy views of the mangroves, wildlife, and charming riverbanks.
A highlight of the cruise is the stop at the beach – if the tide allows, the barge will dock directly on the sand.
You’ll have about an hour to explore the beach, swim in the Indian Ocean, or simply soak in the breathtaking surroundings.
For the more adventurous, wading through knee-deep water to reach the beach can add a special thrill to the experience.
Culinary Delights On Board
While you explore the beach, the crew will prepare a traditional South African snack braai – a small barbecue featuring local specialties.
On the return cruise, enjoy these tasty treats with a refreshing drink. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages ensures there’s something for everyone.
Prices are valid until May 2026.
