Giraffe Walk & Bellevue Reserve

This tour combines two very different safari experiences in one day near Port Elizabeth. Indeed, you walk on foot among giraffes and then join a classic Big Five drive in the private Bellevue reserve. Moreover, the two perspectives complement each other perfectly.

On Foot with Africa’s Gentle Giants

After pick-up at the port, the drive leads through the scenery of the Eastern Cape. About an hour later you reach the private Bellevue reserve, which covers around 2,500 hectares. There you walk out with a ranger to meet the giraffes at close range, a rare chance to stand among them rather than watch from a vehicle. Afterwards, an open-vehicle game drive searches for the larger residents of the reserve.
