Sunset Dhow Cruise

This cruise sails the coast of Muscat aboard a traditional Omani dhow. Indeed, departure is at around 16:00, subject to weather. Moreover, the timing is arranged so that the return falls at dusk.

Past the Palace at Dusk

The route passes the Al Bustan Palace hotel and continues along the rocky coast to the old harbour. There the forts of Al Mirani and Al Jalali stand above the water, with the Al Alam palace between them. As the sun drops, the cliffs turn deep orange and the lights of the city come on one by one. Above all, seeing Muscat from the water at that hour is quite different from any land tour.
