Cable Car up Gunung Mat Chinchang
A highlight of the excursion is the ride on the famous cable car up Gunung Mat Chinchang. On the way you float above dense rainforest and impressive rock formations to the viewing platforms. From here you enjoy a breathtaking panorama over Langkawi and, in clear weather, all the way to the coast of Thailand.
Eagle Square
Afterwards you visit Eagle Square (Dataran Lang), the landmark of Langkawi. The striking 18-metre eagle statue symbolises the island’s name, which in Malay means “island of the reddish-brown eagle”.
Time on the Beach
To round off the tour you have the chance to relax on one of Langkawi’s beautiful beaches and enjoy a refreshing swim in the warm sea.
