Wadi Shab Tour

This tour to Wadi Shab is one of our bestsellers in Oman. Indeed, the gorge holds pools of clear green water between high rock walls. Moreover, the drive follows the coastal highway south towards Sur for about ninety minutes.

By Boat and on Foot into the Gorge

At the entrance to the wadi a small boat ferries you across a pool to the start of the path. From there you walk into the gorge between cliffs, passing date palms and terraced fields fed by old water channels. After around forty-five minutes the first swimming pools appear, deep and startlingly clear. Above all, the strongest swimmers can continue through a narrow cleft to a hidden waterfall inside the rock.
