Discover one of South Africa’s natural gems with Bakadi Dreams on a relaxing boat cruise along the scenic Sundays River!

This approximately 2.5-hour journey through the breathtaking river mouth offers spectacular views of majestic sand dunes – some reaching up to 80 meters high, making them among the tallest in the country.

During a stop along the way, you’ll have the chance to climb the towering dunes – or slide down them at speed on a sandboard!

Keep your eyes peeled during the cruise: with a bit of luck, you might spot kudus, bushbucks, duikers, or even flamingos along the riverbanks, as well as a wide variety of exotic bird species.

Meeting point around 11:30 AM | Boat Cruise from 1:00–3:30 PM | Return to port around 4:30 PM

After a 40-minute transfer, you’ll arrive at the departure restaurant, where a welcome drink, short break, and small souvenir shop await.

From there, you’ll continue by foot or shuttle to the boat jetty.
The cruise then sets off along the river, offering amazing views of the towering dunes.
Midway, there will be a 30-minute stop for exploration and adventure.
Local snacks and two drinks (e.g., beer, wine, or cider) are included.
After the cruise, you’ll be transferred back to the port.
